Overcooked 2 Snowman Crochet Pattern

During the COVID-19 circuit breaker period in SG, I have been obsessed with playing Overcooked 2 with my friends. Here's a pattern of the Overcooked 2 Snowman Character! Used the theory of tapestry crochet to create the shirt and apron. Enjoy!



Legend:

SC - Single Crochet

MSC - Modified Single Crochet (Yarn under instead of over, back loop only)

DC - Double Crochet

MR - Magic Ring

Body: White and Green

R1: [White] 6 SC in MR (6)

R2: [White] 2 SC in each stitch (12)

R3: [White] *SC, 2 SC, repeat from * to end (18)

R4: [White] *SC, SC, 2 SC, repeat from * to end (24)

R5: [White] *SC, SC, SC, 2SC, repeat from * to end (30)

Buttons: Black

Sew in 6 buttons in the shape of a *. Left column of buttons should be on the 2nd White MSC from left, Right column of buttons should be on the 2nd White MSC from right. First row of buttons between R9 and 10, 2nd row between R11 and 12, 3rd row between R13 and 14.


Belt: White

Insert hook in R9 and chain 30 on each side of White MSC block.


Head: White

R1: 6 SC in MR (6)

R2: 2 SC in each stitch (12)

R3: *SC, 2 SC, repeat from * to end (18)

R4: *SC, SC, 2 SC, repeat from * to end (24)

R5: *SC, SC, SC, 2SC, repeat from * to end (30)

R6: *SC, SC, SC, SC, 2SC, repeat from * to end (36)

R7-12: SC in each stitch. (36) Put in Safety Eyes between R6 and R7 with a distance of 9 SC.

Carrot: Orange

Row 4: sl, Leave long tail for wrapping the bow and fastening.


Chef's Hat Bottom: Black, White, Blue

R1: [Black] Ch 30 (30)

R2: [Black] SC in each st. to end, invisible join to first st. (30)

R3: [White] Ch 2 (1st DC stitch), DC in each st. to end (30)

R4: [White] DC in each st. to end, invisible join to first st. (30)

R5: [Blue] SC in each st. to end

Chef's Hat Top: White

R1: 6 SC in MR (6)

Assembly of Chef's Hat:

Sew Chef's Hat Top : Bottom in pattern of below ratio of SC. Do not stuff the Chef's Hat Top to create the puffed look.

*1 :1 (4 times), 3:1 (1 time), repeat from * to end.


Assembly of Snowman:

1. Sew in carrot between R8 and R9, approx. 5 st. from left eye.

2. Embroider eyebrows and mouth with black yarn.

3. Sew chef's hat to R5 of head. Stuff bottom of chef's hat well.

4. Sew body to R14 of head, centering 2 rows of buttons to the carrot of the head.

5. Sew bow in between head and body, centred between 2 rows of buttons.

6. Tie together the belt at the back of the body with a double knot.
