Using the colour for the top half of the ball, work in rounds for the following.

R1: 6 SC in MR (6)

R2: 2SC in each st (12)

R3: *SC, 2SC, repeat from * to end (18)

R4: *SC, SC, 2SC, repeat from * to end (24)

R5: *SC, SC, SC, 2SC, repeat from * to end (30)

R6-7: SC in each st (30)

Fasten off and weave in. Change to black yarn and do a standing stitch.

R8: SC in each st (30).

Fasten off and weave in. Change to white yarn and do a standing stitch.

R9-10: SC in each st (30)

R11: *SC, SC, SC, SC2tog, repeat from * to end (24)
